Code of conduct
UVA LIDKÖPING shall be a responsible
employer. The operations should be handled with respect and consideration for
human rights, for human health, safety and the environment. UVA LIDKÖPING shall comply
with the laws and regulations of each country in which it operates.
The code gives UVA LIDKÖPING a guide on how to behave in
different situations. All are invited and expected to report violations of this
Code of Conduct to the immediate supervisor or other management representative.
UVA LIDKÖPING’s contacts with business partners are
characterized by impartiality and follow good business practice. UVA LIDKÖPING guarantee our business partners privacy regarding trade secrets and
all other confidential business related data that we obtain in the business.
UVA LIDKÖPING will not offer business partners rewards or
benefits in general. Nor shall UVA LIDKÖPING’s employees accept gifts or payments from
third parties in a business relationship that could affect or appear to affect
their objectivity in their business decision.
UVA LIDKÖPING shall comply with the tax laws and regulations of
each country in which it operates. Where tax laws do not give clear guidelines,
prudence and transparency shall be the guiding principles.
UVA LIDKÖPING’s products shall meet applicable regulatory and
legal requirements. UVA LIDKÖPING shall uphold quality, safety and care for the
environment in the development and production of machines / products.
Principles of human rights and working principles
UVA LIDKÖPING shall support and respect the protection of
internationally proclaimed human rights and make sure that the company is not
complicit in human rights abuses.
Child labor is not tolerated. UVA LIDKÖPING follows the International
Labor Organization’s guidelines regarding age limits.
UVA LIDKÖPING shall not engage in or support forced bonded or compulsory
labor. Employees are free to leave their employment after reasonable notice as
required by law and contract.
UVA LIDKÖPING recruit and treat their employees in a way that
does not discriminate with regard to sex, race, religion, age, disability,
sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, trade union membership,
social or ethnic origin.
UVA LIDKÖPING value diversity and promote fair treatment and
equal opportunity in recruitment, compensation, training and promotional among
employees regardless of race, religion, political opinion, gender, age,
nationality, sexual orientation, marital status or disability.
UVA LIDKÖPING respects the right of all employees to join an
association to represent their interests as employees. UVA LIDKÖPING shall respect the
recognized unions. All employees are therefore entitled to join or not to join
UVA LIDKÖPING shall have a safe and healthy work environment for
all employees. UVA LIDKÖPING shall take appropriate actions to prevent workplace
accidents and occupational diseases.
Working hours and compensation
UVA LIDKÖPING shall comply with applicable laws and agreements
regarding working hours and wages.
UVA LIDKÖPING shall be a responsible company regarding
environmental issues and strives to reduce its environmental impact.
Environmental regulations must be followed.
Responsibility for compliance
It is the responsibility of the UVA LIDKÖPING managers to implement this policy and inform their
employees of their rights, duties and responsibilities.
It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with the Code of conduct, local laws
and the UVA LIDKÖPING policies.

version shall take precedence in case of dispute.
